Zippy Vault is a brand of Fortify 24x7, which is the data controller for information collected through this site and service.

What we collect

• Account and billing: your name, email, and company; payment is handled by Stripe — card details never touch our servers.
• Service data: the systems and accounts you protect, backup job status, and the backed-up data itself (encrypted at rest and in transit).
• Site basics: standard server logs. No advertising trackers.

How we use it

To provision, operate, bill, and support the backup service; to notify you about backup health, security, and account matters; and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your backed-up data for anything other than providing the service.

Who we share it with

Service providers strictly as needed to run the service: Stripe (payments), our backup-platform and cloud-infrastructure vendors, and email delivery. Each processes data only on our instructions.

Retention

Backup data is retained per the schedule of your plan (e.g., 28-day versions; 7-year M365 email retention) and deleted after subscription termination per vendor deprovisioning schedules. Account records are kept as required for tax and accounting.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g., California), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Contact us and we will honor applicable rights.
